The Streaming Giant Selects Spot-On Performer for Mr. 2 in One Piece Season 3
The Secret Organization is geared up to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, although the true confrontation won’t take place until season 3, and a beloved, popular member has recently been selected.
The platform declared Tuesday that the talented performer has joined the One Piece cast for the third season and will portray Bon Clay. This character has the ability to transform into an exact copy of any person they’ve made contact with with their right hand. The actor, who is non-binary and goes by they/them, will play a version of that role reimagined as non-binary, rather than as a drag queen, in the live-action show, unlike the source material and cartoon version.
This performer is joined by a number of recently announced actors who will portray the group to reality, featuring leader Mr. 0, portrayed by Joe Manganiello, Sophia Anne Caruso as another operative, and a familiar face, who is also part of the cast as the monarch of the fictional land.
Though the role is a major member of Baroque Works, the character won’t make their debut One Piece the upcoming installment. Given the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden segment, this signals a notable change in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could signal more adjustments to the plot development.
The actor’s combination of excellent comedic sense and deep sensitivity makes them a ideal selection for the role. In addition to their latest vocal work in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and multiple awards for penning and acting in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, highlighting the versatility they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s most celebrated characters.
Netflix's live-action One Piece series is due to premiere for its season two on the tenth of March, 2026.
